The Činohra of the National Theatre has announced the autumn programme for the 9th edition of Pražské křižovatky, an international theatre festival running from October 2026 to February 2027. The autumn segment features productions from Georgia, Ukraine, Austria, France, Argentina, and Switzerland, encompassing theatre, a scenic oratorio, a staged concert, dance performance, and an exhibition. Highlights include Data Tavadze's 'Liberté' on 25–26 October, Milo Rau and Servane Dècle's 'Proces Pelicot' on 22, 26–27 November, and Dakh Daughters' concert 'Antidote' on 30 November. Most events will be held at the Centre for Contemporary Art DOX and Kulturní stanice Galaxie, with ticket sales launching in early August 2026.
The Auditorio de Tenerife is hosting the first Encuentro Internacional de Dramaturgia de Tenerife on June 30 and July 1, 2026, as part of the Mapas 26 festival. The event features talks and conversations on contemporary dramaturgy, with participants including Alberto Conejero, Lucía Miranda, Carolina África, and representatives from institutions such as the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and Centro Dramático Galego. Alongside the encounter, Franco-Uruguayan playwright Sergio Blanco leads a five-day seminar titled 'La autoficción: el desvanecimiento del yo', exploring autofiction in performance. Mapas 26 also encompasses six international dance productions running through July 24, with subscription and single-ticket options available.
